Sculptra

Increase firmness and reduce sagging skin with Sculptra. Sculptra is a biostimulator that contains microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It is a completely biodegradable polymer that has been available in the EU for aesthetic use for 20 years. In the skin, it stimulates fibroblasts to activate their collagen factory. The result is an increased collagen content that makes the skin more elastic and voluminous. How does it work? 1. Injection with a small needle or alternatively a microcannula using a signature technique. (NOTE: lips, forehead, and nose are not injected). 2. Massage (also performed by the patient for 5 days, 5 times per day) after treatment. Book an additional treatment session after 4–6 weeks. Typically, at least two but sometimes three treatments are needed depending on the degree of laxity being treated.
